Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels

Cambridge IGCSE (at age 16) followed by Cambridge A-Levels (at age 18) is the most widely offered internationally recognized qualification pathway in Africa. Near-universal recognition by UK, African, Middle Eastern, Asian, and Australian universities. Available through accredited virtual schools at accessible cost — making the international curriculum accessible to families who cannot afford premium physical international schools.

The IB Diploma

The International Baccalaureate Diploma is a two-year qualification (ages 16–18) requiring students to study six subjects across six groups alongside a core of extended essay, Theory of Knowledge, and CAS requirements. Particularly valued by North American universities. Offered by relatively few schools in Africa — primarily premium international schools in major cities — at fees above most families' reach.

WAEC and National Certificates

WAEC and KCSE national certificates are the standard qualification for African universities and for employment in national civil services. For families whose children are likely to study at African universities and build careers in their home country, the national certificate is practical and cost-effective. For maximum international flexibility — including UK, US, and Australian universities — Cambridge or IB qualifications are stronger choices.
